Top Chef

We have a local star on Top Chef this season: Hosea, the executive chef of Jax Fish House in Boulder. Who has won some pretty impressive cooking awards, and has a nice Boulderific photo gallery on the Top Chef site.

I love Jax in Boulder. It's the perfect happy hour place, especially on a Friday after work, in the summer, when you drink too much chardonnay and eat too many mussels and crabcakes elbow to elbow at the bar. It's the kind of place that just puts a smile on your face.

So it couldn't have been easy for poor Hosea last night when his crab/mango/avocado dish landed him in the bottom three on Top Chef.
